In this lesson, the students will investigate different types of families and family structures.
We will look at single-parent families, two-parent families, foster families, and blended families. We will also discuss adoption and same-sex families within these family structures.

They will then examine why these skills are important in the workplace and for impressing potential employers, before focusing on the skills they want to develop further, according to their prospective lines of employment.

**Looking after my teeth PSHE lesson. **
A one-two hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, some of the activities may also suit students in LKS2.
In this lesson, the students will learn about the importance of good oral hygiene, and the consequences of failing to take care of our teeth. The students will learn about the science of tooth decay and the hygiene measures that can help to prevent cavities.
The lesson includes a starter activity, a card sort, a video clip with questions, a cut and paste activity, a storyboard activity and a plenary task.

Growing and Changing EYFS PSHE lesson.
A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. This lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups.
In this lesson, the children will learn why we grow. We will look at examples of plants and animals in nature, and also take a more detailed look at some of the stages of human life. We will read* The Growing Story* by Ruth Krauss before discussing a set of teacher-led comprehension questions, followed by a choice of adult-led or independent activities.
The lesson includes a sing-along starter (to ensure a swift start to the lesson), a story with accompanying questions, an adult-led focus task, independent activities to be carried out during continuous provision, and a plenary task.

2 HOUR LESSON for the new PSHE Guidelines, fully-resourced PSHE lesson all about drugs and addiction - from heroin, ecstasy and crack to krokodil and DMT. The lesson investigates why these can be so harmful in both the long and short term. The pack includes a very detailed PowerPoint, 5 page drug information pack, a detailed case study of how anyone can become addicted to drugs, differentiated challenge activities, worksheets, clips and debate focus tasks. What is a family? KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 1, however, the activities are also suitable for students in Year 2, and could easily be adapted for use with older students.
In this lesson, the children will learn about different kinds of families, and how no two families are the same. We will discuss a range of family types including single-parent, two-parent, blended, foster families and legal guardians.
The students will read Families, Families, Families by Suzanne and Max Lang, before completing a ‘family bingo’ activity linked to the text. 2 HOURS - In this double lesson students will explore the concept of financial exploitation, with particular regard to online scams and money laundering. They will investigate how easy it is to fall for a scam, the common techniques used by scammers and how to spot one. Students will then focus on a growing criminal industry which young people often fall victim to; money laundering. They will discover how money laundering works, what happens to the victims, the penalties, and how criminals operate to trick people and avoid detection.
